The boys started the match brilliantly and after 5 minutes Corey had the ball in the back of the net, thanks to some savvy pressing.

We then struggled to find our feet in the game as Tonbridge moved the ball well and stretched our midfield. A number of exceptional saves from Harry kept us in the lead. Hodge made a real difference when he came on in midfield; vocal, calming & smart on the ball.

Tonbridge scored straight from kick off but the boys showed real character and responded well. Tihami & Nathan at the back were immense.. Countless last ditch tackles and blocks kept us in the game. Will B was also awesome when he came on, won his battles and moved the ball well.

With 10 minutes to go Corey slotted home a nicely struck volley from a corner. The boys managed the final few minutes of the game well.

As a team we were far from our best against a skill-full and well drilled Tonbridge side. The boys ‘want to win’ was enough to get the victory.
