An amazing trip & couple of days for the team.

The boys started the game brightly pressing effectively as a team all over the pitch and winning the ball back in dangerous areas. A number of half chances fell our way but the Rossall's keeper made several magnificent saves keeping them in the game.

The midfield 5 worked tirelessly shuffling across and communicating well against a well drilled, technically gifted and intelligent Rossall side who moved the ball extremely well. Some brilliant defending from the entire team but in particular Sonny and Nathan kept the scores 0-0 at half time.

We started the second half well with Archie & Corey looking dangerous down both flanks. 10 minutes into the half Jake picked up the ball in drove past Rossalls midfield & defence and calmly slotted the ball home. 1-0. For the next 15 minutes the boys worked hard but slowly dropped deeper, inviting pressure.. eventually Rossall scored a scrappy goal from a corner.

..extra time... started and finished 1-1.

Penalties.. despite Harry making a superb save the Rossall keeper managed to keep 3 of our penalties out. Rossall win 3-2 on pens.

MOTM- Hodge who was epic in midfield.
